Freight World is a dynamic and professionally managed global logistics and customs clearing organisation. Our strength lies in combined expertise built over many years of experience.
Established in 1991, we have steadily grown from a staff complement of 25 and only three offices to now employing over 100 people, with offices in all major cities and customs ports across Zimbabwe.
Our mission is to provide total quality freight logistics solutions. We are certified to the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and accredited as a licensed ZIMRA customs clearing agent at every port in the country.

Freight World was founded as a subsidiary of TSL and built into an independent, wholly management and staff owned company through a management buy-out. Today we run offices in every major Zimbabwean city, a clearing presence at every customs port, and regional reach to Johannesburg, Durban and the world through our global partner a.hartrodt.

Ben Mukandi
Ben started his shipping career in 1976 with Manica Zimbabwe, moving to Casalee Cargo in 1984 as Airfreight Exports Manager and rising to Operations Manager. In 1988 he ran operations for AMI, a Belgium-headquartered international shipping company, before rejoining Casalee in 1990 as Operations Director. He co-founded Freight World as a subsidiary of TSL, and led and negotiated the management buy-out that made the company independent.

Felix Nyaruwanga
A University of Zimbabwe BBus Studies Honours graduate (1991) with 16 years in customs clearing and shipping, including three years at the Department of Customs and Excise as a senior examinations officer. Across a decade at Freight World he rose from Imports Controller to Operations Director. He is strong in customs rules, valuation and tariff classification, and holds an MBA from the University of Zimbabwe.
Sales Director
Paul Chawafambira
Paul began his career at Manica Freight in 1980 as a Surface Imports Clearing Clerk, moving into airfreight by 1983 and on to Casalee Cargo as Imports and Exports Manager, then Projects Manager. He joined Freight World as Projects Manager in 1994, becoming Projects and Sales Manager and then Marketing Director in 1999. He leads the company's sales and projects work.
